From Idea to Live Architecture Experience

Challenge
Abbie & Henry started as a blank page.
No brand, no interface, no identity, no code — just an idea and the ambition to build an e-commerce experience with clarity, warmth, and a strong Scandinavian foundation.
The challenge was to create everything from scratch:
a visual identity, a UX strategy, a full UI system, and the complete front-end development that would bring the brand to life. The goal was not simply to design a store, but to create a cohesive, modern, and intuitive digital experience that users could trust.
Solution
I approached Abbie & Henry as a full end-to-end build.
First came the brand: a clean, minimal, Nordic-inspired identity that shaped the tone, visuals, and overall personality. This became the anchor for every design and development decision.
From there, I designed the full user experience — navigation flows, product discovery, mobile structures, and the entire cart and checkout journey. The interface was crafted to feel simple, clear, and welcoming, removing unnecessary complexity so users could browse without friction.
Once the UX and UI were complete, I coded the entire front end myself.
I built a fully custom Shopify theme, created reusable components, optimized layouts for all screen sizes, and implemented dynamic product features such as filters, variants, and responsive grids. Design and development worked together as a single system, ensuring consistency at every layer.
The end result is a unified e-commerce experience — visually strong, technically reliable, and ready for real customers.
Process
The process began with research: understanding user behaviour, identifying pain points, and defining what a clean and modern shopping flow should look like. With these insights, I created low-fidelity wireframes to structure the experience, then moved into high-fidelity UI with a polished visual system.
After finalizing the design language, I translated every screen into code.
This included building responsive navigation, product pages, mobile layouts, cart logic, and performance-optimized components. I handled testing, refinement, and deployment to ensure the site launched smoothly and behaved exactly as intended.
Abbie & Henry evolved from an idea to a complete digital ecosystem — designed, built, and deployed with attention to detail and a clear vision from start to finish.

From concept to code — build experiences with intention.
I built Abbie & Henry from the ground up — starting with the core idea, shaping its identity, and designing every part of the user experience. I created the full UI system, defined the interaction patterns, and engineered the entire front end with a custom-coded. Every element, from layout to component logic, was developed by hand and tested across devices. I handled the full deployment, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and a seamless shopping flow. This project represents my complete end-to-end process: brand strategy, UX thinking, UI design, front-end development, and final launch — all crafted as a unified, intentional ecosystem.
